Colin Cowherd Suggests Steelers Trade Six Draft Picks to Select Alabama QB Ty Simpson in 2026 NFL Draft

Colin Cowherd says the Steelers should trade six picks to move up and select Alabama QB Ty Simpson in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

“If you’re Pittsburgh with all these picks, my takeaway, you give out about six of them to go get Ty Simpson in the first round…say what you want, it’s something.” 

Simpson is not viewed as a first-round player, but Cowherd believes he’s good enough to become the Steelers’ franchise quarterback. 

The Steelers are slated to have 12 picks in the upcoming draft.
