Chelsea equalize against Man. City in the 94th minute... and league leaders Arsenal celebrate.

A goal from Enzo Fernández equalizes a match in which Pep's team were far superior

Chelsea 's Premier League title swings heavily in Arsenal's favor.  That's the conclusion after Enzo Fernández's 94th-minute goal... when Man City had everything in their favor to take all three points.

Enzo's goal didn't reflect the flow of the game, as City were far superior and only their late lapse allowed Arsenal to celebrate.  With this draw, City have now dropped points in two consecutive matches, following their 0-0 draw away to Sunderland on January 1st. Both City and Aston Villa now sit in second and third place, respectively, six points behind Arsenal.

The first half was dominated by City with two great chances for Haaland in the 37th and 39th minutes (hitting the post), until the goal came with the left foot of the Dutchman Reijnders.

In the second half, Neto missed a clear chance for Chelsea in the 49th minute, but Donnarumma, the City goalkeeper, was barely involved throughout the match. Everything was going well for the home side until Enzo struck in Chelsea's first game without Italian manager Enzo Maresca.

Furthermore, Pep's team could face two more pieces of bad news  in the form of injuries to Gvardiol and Rubén Díaz. Their recovery will need to be monitored.
